Teacher quality
We are very proud of our teaching staff at GEOS, Honolulu. Our
instructors are experienced professionals who have lived and taught
English around the world. They really understand the needs of
international students and they are dedicated to helping each
student become a confident English speaker.
How
do you like your teachers? They are good and
experienced. They tell us to try not to use dictionaries and I
think it is good.
When I don't understand a word, it is easy to find the meaning
if I use an English/Japanese dictionary, but our teachers
explain the meaning, so it improve our listening. Is it difficult to study
every day? No. First I was nervous but
I got used to it in a few days. I want to study more. Any comments for future
GEOS students? I always wanted to be able
to speak English for my business. I had been to Hawaii four
times, so that is why I decided to come to Hawaii and study
English at GEOS.
After a few days, I could understand the lessons, but I think
it takes more time to be fluent in English. I will do my best
and would like to use English for my job in the future.
How
do you like your teachers? They are all kind and nice.
At first I was nervous, but now I am fine! If you like them, why? Their lessons are easy to
understand and interesting, so I don't get bored.
Moreover, I feel I want to study English more. Any comments for future
GEOS students? GEOS Honolulu is a good
environment to study English. We have some Korean students and a
lot of students from other countries, so we have to talk in
English, I think it is good!
Currently I’m enrolled at GEOS studying Japanese and they were
able to take the knowledge I already have and break me past my
last learning plateau. The teaching staff and workers are very
friendly which make for a great learning environment. In the
short time that I have been taking classes I’ve learned many
practical and technical mechanics of the language.
I would definitely recommend anyone at any level to enroll at
GEOS for their language study.
