Activities
GEOS, Honolulu has many activities for international students and GEOS staff to enjoy together. We have barbeques by the beach, hiking excursions to Diamond Head Crater, whale watching cruises and submarine rides. Surfing, snorkeling, diving, jet-skiing and parasailing are just a few of Hawaii's water sports. Cultural attractions include hula and ukulele lessons, Hawaiian music concerts in the park, the Bishop Museum of Hawaiian History and Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the United States. You can see Hawaiian and other exotic animals close up at Sea Life Park, Honolulu Zoo and the Aquarium.

Our experiences Report What was the most interesting activity after school?
Going to the beach and surfing with classmates from different countries was the most interesting.
Please tell us about your most interesting activity or funny story.
I had never tried to surf before, but my Japanese female friends taught me how to do it!
Any comments for future GEOS Honolulu students?
You can learn not only English but also so many other things in Hawaii. It is a good experience to make friends from other countries and we enjoyed English conversation and other things like sports.

Our experiences Report What kinds of activities have you participated in?
Halloween party, a catamaran ride, a whale watching cruise, e.t.c.
Please tell us about your most interesting activity or funny story.
I made my Halloween costume with some containers and bottles. Then I went to GEOS Honolulu's party and I won the most creative costume prize! After the party, I walked in Waikiki wearing the costume and everyone talked to me. It was very fun and a good memory!
What did you get through participating in the activities?
I found I can improve my English through the activities because I could meet more people there.
Any comments for future GEOS Honolulu students?
Men and women of any age can be comfortable at GEOS and in Hawaii. I hope you can have a good time with us!

BBQ party at the beach in Waikiki and Robert's night club.
Please tell us about your most interesting activity or funny story.
Robert's night club was very interesting because we danced and drank, and I could see some people's wild sides.
What did you get through the activities?
I think it is very good to participate in some activities because you can get to know other students and teachers who don't teach you.
What kind of activities would you like to participate in in the future?
Sports! Tennis or table tennis.
